Momert plc is situated in the heart of Hungary, on the bank of the danube river. The firm was founded in 1967 by the 120-year-old hungarian optical works co. Under the name dunaujvaros factory of h. O. W. Since then it has turned into joint-stock company, and it has been under 100% private hungarian ownership.

Manufacture and assembly of bathroom and kitchen scales began at the beginning of the eighties. These product lines were developed independently by ourselves and became more and more successful. Within a few years the market share of our scales increased dynamically on foreign markets.
To fulfil the requirements of changing world market trends we continuously improve our marketing activity. Our research & development team annually develops many new scale models and design. To present these products we frequently edit catalogues and brochures in english and participate in the world's most famous fairs of house appliances, like houseware appliances in chicago, ambiente and tendence in frankfurt and macef in milan. On the other hand, there are several international fairs in europe ( hometech in berlin and bologne) in which momert exhibits our products on a specially designed own stand.
At present, the most important in our strategy is being ready to cooperate, working as a supplier.
To achieve this goal we continuously improve the quality of our production. The scale production procedure was acknowledged by iso 9001/2000 certificate of tuv cert. In may 1997. Adopting iso ts is in process, simultaneously we use the latest quality assurance systems like pqpc, fmea, spc.

Technological instruments
The factory has its own pressing, moulding and surface treating workshops and tool making facilities with machines german, swiss and hungarian in origin.
Our joint stock company is ready to cooperate ( job work, joint venture) with partners whose profile is the same or similar to that of momert 's. In a cooperation we can pledge our free capacity and our equipment in our covered area that is suitable for assembling. Furthermore, we offer our common experience in product development or the tooling and manufacturing of developed products.
